What We Do

We work for the common good of people who live in Michigan and people who visit.

We support policies at the local, state, and federal levels that make life better here. We pay close attention to how government actually works: whether elected officials and public employees are open and accountable, how policies get made, and whether those policies deliver real results.

We encourage residents to take part in civic, political, and government life. We also support efforts that make government more effective, less burdensome, and easier for people to understand.

We raise and use funds for research, programs, and events that help advance these goals.
